Aged for ten months in oak barrels, the Bianco Malatesta smells pleasant aromas of ripe fruit and honey. The mouth reveals a dynamic body, round and pleasant, supported by good freshness and a dry closing.
The Bianco Malatesta is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. The vinification is a particular and special handmade process known as carbonic maceration for the 40% of the grapes beside a classic white vinification for the remaining part without the addiction of sulfites, additives or fining agents.
After 5 days the grapes that follow carbonic maceration are gently pressed and the juice continues naturally the fermentation without the addiction of selected yeast.
After primary fermentation the wine is aged in old wooden barrels for the malolaptic fermentation and after 6 months is racked out and bottled without any filtering, maintaining the natural integrity and expression of the grape.
