ready-to-start-again

A busy year but full of satisfactions. The first part of Bele Casel project has come to the end

Never give up. For this Luca and Paola have dedicated body and soul to their project "The wild vineyard of Monfumo”.
Who works with nature knows how many obstacles can find during his path, difficulties that often can be so hard to face. However, the patience and the determination of our winemakers have given great results. Now the first part of Bele Casel project has come to the end as Luca and Paola tell us on their new update.

Monfumo is the jewel of Bele Casel, a hectare in an excellent position, where everything must be handmade. This is the secret of this vineyard that grows among the slopes of Colli Asolani, hosting ancient varieties that found here their perfect habitat during the past.

Believing in territory and in its origins: these are the reasons of this great project.
In recent months, our young winemakers have planted the chestnut poles and the rooted-cuttings. They dug the ground and planted the vines. Everything was handmade, no tractor, only passion and physical strength.

Last summer was very hot and it created a lot of difficulties to the young vines; some of them didn’t survive. Now Luca and Paola have to replace them and give them new life.
This is the second phase of the project of "The wild vineyard of Monfumo". Let’s start again!

What to say? We are so proud of these brave winemakers, travel friend of this wonderful adventure. Luca and Paola, even more than great artisans, are first of all great people. We have so lucky because we have met them during our journey.

This project is a dream come true also for us. And for this we sincerely thank each of you.
Here is the plaque, which stands among the rows of the vineyard of Monfumo, with the names of all the Wine relatives and Winefriends of Luca and Paola.

A dream that is becoming true. Dear Winefriends and Wine Relatives, here it is the plaque with your names!
